Being a pre-teen now, Elise felt she did not want to do as many camps and wanted just to hang out more, so she spent more time at home than Anja, and they both enjoyed their schedules.
The girls did some things together:
- Art class focused on drawing and painting
- Friends of the Rappahannock River camp, with kayaking, canoeing, and swimming
- Day camp at Paragon Gymnastics center, with some time every day playing on the gymnastics equipment
- Engineering for Kids robotics camp, where they built their own robot
Anja did a few things on her own:
- Girl Scout camp
- Engineering for Kids computer game programming camp
- basketball camp
We also took a trip to Utah to visit the Roden family, which is always a hit. The girls LOVE visiting their cousins. It was a busy summer and it went fast. The good news, of course, is that summer will come around again and if there's anything we feel like we missed this year, we can do it next year.
